Cleansing Routine: January 2018

My cleansing routine can change fairly frequently so I thought I'd date these posts, knowing that I'll probably be updating them from time to time on here.

Here's my current routine.

Daytime

I work from home so, truthfully, my morning routine is more like my lunch-time routine by the time I get my day organized. So, here's what I'm using this month:

  1. Remove oil and dirt using Global Beauty Care's "Luxe" brand Retinol Cleansing Cloths. Meant to minimize wrinkles and restore pH balance.
  2. Refresh skin using Jouviance brand Micelle Solution.
  3. Variant: Cleanse with Aveeno Clear Complexion Cream Cleanser 2x a week.
  4. Variant: Cleanse with Lancôme Gel Radiance Clarifying Gel-To-Foam Cleanser 5x a week.
  5. Variant: Sooth angry skin with Naturally Upper Canada cucumber sheet mask 1x a week
  6. Hydrate with Aveeno Positively Radiant daily moisturizer with SPF 30.

Nighttime

My nighttime routine is very important to me. It's my way of winding down for the day. Also my mother and grandmother taught me to never go to sleep with my makeup on. My grandmother had fantastic skin and my mother DOES NOT look like the age she is. So, that's all the proof I need that a nighttime routine is important.

  1. Variant: Remove makeup with Lancôme Galatée Confort Milky Cream Cleanser for Dry Skin 3-4x a week.
  2. Variant: Remove makeup with The Body Shop Camomile Cleansing Butter 3-4x a week.
  3. Refresh skin using Jouviance brand Micelle Solution.
  4. Variant: Brighten skin using The Body Shop Chinese Ginseng & Rice Clarifying Polishing Mask 2x a week.
  5. Hydrate with The Body Shop Vitamin E Overnight Serum-in-Oil.
  6. Apply Fresh Sugar Lip Serum Advanced Therapy.
  7. Apply Clinique All about Eyes Rich Balm.

Now, I don't know how long this will stay my routine but, for now, it's what I'm working with.
