Blogspiration: Estée Lalonde

As a new lifestyle blogger myself, I've been looking at some of my favourite blogs for some "blogspiration" and the one I keep going back to the most is probably Estée Lalonde's. Her name is her brand and she's done a great job at building it. She's gained a loyal following over the years through her YouTube channel where she posts regular vlogs but you can also find her everywhere on social media.

Here's the numbers:

  • 65,792 Facebook followers
  • 263,000 + Twitter followers
  • 140,362 Bloglovin' followers
  • 727,000 + Instagram followers

On her blogs she clearly states which posts are sponsored so you never feel duped (which I like) and her topics range from beauty, style, and travel, to stationery, books, and her day-to-day.

As far as a one-woman lifestyle blogger goes, she's gettin' the job done (well, with maybe a little help from time to time from her beau Aslan and her adorable Greyhound Reggie).

Check her out and be sure to give her a follow.

Blogspiration: Messy Nessy Chic

One of the very first blogs I ever started following regularly a couple of years ago was Messy Nessy Chic. British blogger Vanessa Grall who lives in Paris, admits she gets "asked a lot how I managed to make this blogging thing my job. The truth is, I never planned for it to be my job."  She then goes on to note "If you’re good at something, people will notice."

Take notice they have.

Some quick numbers:

  • On Facebook she has 680,390 followers
  • On Twitter she has over 15,000 followers
  • On Bloglovin' she has 2,239 followers

I believe the very first blog post I saw of hers was this one when I was searching the interwebs on Wes Anderson stuff. A search of her blog reveals she's as much of a Wes Anderson fan as I am (probably more).

Blog categories range from "My Secret Paris" to "Teeny Tiny Stuff" to "Obscure History" so there's a lot of interesting variety.

My favourite regular feature of hers is "13 Things I Found on the Internet Today". I swear I've got so much useless trivia now in my brain thanks to this blog. :)

So, please check out Messy Nessy Chic and let me know what you think!
